Now those are some cool kids! They should've called their parents to help out, or better yet, a tow truck! Well, they learned their lesson. :)

:o

It's almost hard to believe that anyone would actually be so foolish as to try to tow the car that way. I hope it didn't cost too much to repair that car!

RIPPPPPPPP! --- What kind of car was that?? Chevy Geo? Toyota?

It looked like the whole bumper and back end was made out of cheap plastic and aluminum. I wouldnt want to be in the back seat of that car if it got rear ended at high speed.

omg.. what a pack of idiots.

You know, with all of those guys they had there, they probably could have picked up that Storm and moved it off of the snow.

I think the car is either a Geo or a Saturn.

Those idiots should have atleast hooked the line to the frame or the undercarriage.

Please don't let them breed, it'll be bad for the gene pool.

Aside from a lack of basic understanding of physics and geometry, they seemed to have forgotten that there are tow hooks at the front and rear of most cars.

LOL Ian is right. There were enough guys there to pick the car up and move it over a couple feet.

It's a Geo Storm... aka a rebadged Isuzu something or other.

They attached it to the tow hook on the bumper. As they found out, that's not the best place to town a car from. Attaching it to the frame would have been best. Then again, the Storm is a unibody.

Tow hook should have been attached to the frame unless there's something unusual about Geo Storms.

It looks like they ripped off part of the frame and the bumper. Of course those tards could have tied that rope to the bumper or something.

ian's right, they could have picked it up and slid it, or how about this:

attach it to the front of the car, it looked like they had plenty of room, and like no snow to plow it through, like there was pulling it from the back

also as they were pulling it from the back, it looks like they were digging it deeper in the ditch, like it was deep ditch

course im from wisconsin, so i would have known all this. i guess thats what you get for driving a rice burner, ahhhhhh me and my lincoln

I saw that a while back on one of my car boards. They hooked it to the bumper shock and the whole thing came out taking the back of the car with it. It's probaly totaled would be my guess. Trying to drag it sideways up a snow drift wasn't bright anyways. I had a 41 Powerwagon back in the day and you never hooked the winch cable to something small, always a large frame peice or the biggest tree you could find if it was me stuck. Small trees would pull right out of the ground...Don't ask me how I know....

Wow!
That reminds me of the link Ian(?) posted, with the kid driving while standing whose truck first crashes into a sign post, loses control and then sustains a decent amount of damage.

I don't know what they hooked it up to, but I would have stopped after the first noise (when they stop and take a look), since that was the warning of worse to come!

EDIT:
It looks like he could have just driven forward to begin with, since only the rear tires seem to be stuck?
Isn't that car FWD????
They could have pushed him, if necessary.

Yeah, its FWD. If they would have pulled up some, they probably could have driven out of the driveway.
