For those who don't know, the original tune is by Cat Stevens.

Enjoy!

Is that the "Cats in the Kettle" song or something else? I ask because I don't have Shockwave (and never will...I freaking hate that POS almost as much as Windows). Well, that and my browser ain't exactly working very well. Firebird rules; FireFox sucks. So does having to install Windoze 3 times in one day and having SMART tell you you have a bad hard drive right AFTER you finish installing Windows. Err, sorry. Rant over.

I've seen the "Cats In the Kettle" song tagged as being by "Weird Al", but I don't know if it really is or not. It's quite funny, especially to a cat-hater like me (for me, cats=moving targets)! :)

OMG GREECE BANS GAMING!
A man has been charged after allegedly punching a 73-year-old woman in the face, breaking her nose and stabbing her in the arm with a corkscrew before hitting a second woman with a bottle at a wedding reception in the Whitsunday Islands.

Actually, I believe it was by Harry Chapin.

what's FireFox (except for an old action film with Clint Eastwood) ?

One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

Good movie. Anyway, Firefox is the new name for the Mozilla browser.

it was at the time.
nowadays it looks quite outdated.

so what's the difference between Mozilla/FireBird/FireFox?
i'd thought Mozilla was the browser's name.

Mozilla = the "normal", final/stable browser
Firefox = Version 0.8, the beta of the next-gen Mozilla browser
Firebird = Version 0.7. Old name for Firefox.

Firebird/fox are nice; tabbed browsing, mouse gestures, and ad blocking are my favorite features. Except Firefox is as buggy as Windows at the moment, and doesn't like alot of the Firebird extensions.

thanks for the explanation.

i gather you don't use Mozilla because you want the stuff in the newer betas?
so if FireFox is buggy, stick with FireBird!

Yeah, the tabbed browsing & all of the extensions are great. The downside: they've pulled Firebird off their site, and Firefox zapped my Firebird install nicely (even though they were installed to seperate directories). Oh well. Not a big deal at the moment; I'm parting out this system & selling it in the morning. By the time I deciede to build a new system, Firefox 0.8 should be Mozilla 2.0, maybe 3.0.

The original song is Cat's in the Cradle by Harry Chapin. :)
