JLMS XJ-HD 166S DVD read problem

Postby ckang007 on Thu Feb 26, 2004 12:57 am

Hi, i just brought a Liteon 166S and it can read CDs well and fast too. however, if I put in a DVD, it will read only up to 3/4 of the DVD and starts slowing down and quit. Not sure if it's a defective drive, if so, i will return it or is there other solution to this problem?

if it looks something like this

then this is normal for a dual-layer DVD.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the land of Mordor, where the Shadows lie
