everything i've ever bought from meritline has been crap, blotches of ink all over the cd's, busted wrapper so they're all scattered in the box scratching each other when it arrives, and bubbles in the plastic.... i think they only sell the damaged merchandise

Other than the 8x Ritek DVD+R fiasco, I've had very good luck with them.

Something you should know about this deal:
the pricing for 500pcs is as low as $0.75ea, and that is it's $0.04 USD cheaper then what Ritek is wholeselling their media to.

So, speaking as the person responsible for making the company I work for a distributor for Ritek, I am utterly appalled that they are selling us media at $0.79 USDea when we buy thousands upon thousands, and yet they give meritline such a good price that they can afford to sell DVD-Rs for $0.04 USD below our own cost from Ritek direct? at only 500pcs?!?!

All I can say is, that had better as hell be them flogging 'B' and 'C' grade and not telling people, or there's going to be one less Ritek distributor in the world. I'm going to make sure all the other distributors I know of are aware of this as well.

This is *not* the first time Ritek has done this!

I'm rather personally ticked off about this too, since I've worked with Ritek for over 2 years, helping them get better support in Canada, and a few other business related things. This is a slap in the face of everything I've done for them!

All the stuff I've gotten from meritline is the Grade A RiData. Why are you pissed that Meritline is getting a better deal. Maybe they get a discount for advertising for Ritek the most, maybe they order more, who knows.

I can't say anymore then I have without breaking confidences. I'd rather not be sued over this, or have friend's lose jobs.
