The 100 pack CD-R free after MIR is bulk packed without any manufacturer identified. The discs themselves have silver shiny tops without any marking. I bought a pack and it turned out to be Made in China CMC Magnetics. The rebate forms identify Khypermedia as fulfilling the rebate. I'll take it for free (plus tax and postage stamp).

They are CMC cheapos - Burned some Mp3s to an audio CD with Nero at 48X speed with my Lite-On 52x48x52. Got 18% damaged blocks with Scandisc! Another burn at 24X gave me no errors. I bought them for making CD backups for the car, so getting them free is a good deal.

I bought a cheap 56K modem for an old computer im fixing up, a HP mouse and some DVD boxes too, great deals!

I generally don't burn any of the CMC discs faster than 32x, but the Kprobe scans are pretty decent. The Made in China CMC seems to be better than the other CMC media.
