Best reader / writer for CDS200?

Postby thomas.mail on Mon Apr 12, 2004 8:38 pm

I want to rip CDS200 discs with EAC (as secure as possible, no errors). What is the best drive for this "challenge"?

I'd agree with Hoxlund, although of course I haven't tested all the cdrw drives out there :)

However, Plextor premium is able to rip CDS200 protected discs faster (with Plextool Pro) and without audible problems than say, LiteOn LTR-52327S is.

For my part I would recommend the Yamaha CRW-F1.... but that's just me. You can't really buy them anymore, but they were the kings of CD Audio ripping :D
