DV 2 DVD

Postby VN Souljah on Tue Apr 13, 2004 10:04 am

Hi,
Is there any "software" or so that can make a dvd-video from a DV camera ???
I have tried to make one by using this guide, http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?ca ... me=dvtodvd

but the quality is not in dvd, its like a vcd-movie in a dvd-disc.
Does anyone know how to make a dvd-movie from a DV, please help me ??

Im using a DV Panasonic GS-50 and tranfer the video from the DV to PC using firewire.
The video format is in PAL.
I have Adobe Premiere 6 but the quality in that is the same, I can't capture in a good quality just "VCD" quality.
And Windows Movie Maker sucks bad so I dont want to use it.
I just want to capture the video from the DV camera in good quality to my PC, the rest (cut, edit, make the video to vob) can I do easy, but to capture to good quality is the big problem.

I've captured using Movie Maker in the highest quality, I think NTSC or something, 30mbps, and the movie looks fine on TV.
