Hmmm........., just got back from Staples myself a few minutes ago.

McAfee AV 8.0 for $0, AMIR (includes upgrade from previous McAfee or Norton product). Maybe I'll send them the NAV 2000 CD, or the title page from the NSW 2002 book???

i really dislike our 2 week ads, because 1 week and 6 days later people still come in and expect to find stuff in the ad in stock

On the Memorex +R, make sure you get the ones with light gray bottoms. Those are RicohJpn, even though the packaging said Made in Taiwan. The black ones are CMCs.

Even with one weeks ads - I am not just talking about Staples -
the really hot stuff is sold out in a matter of a few hours, or less, so people coming in Sunday late morning or early afternoon are often in for a big surprise.
The line at OfficeMax (I don't have much time or interest in Hot Deals anymore, at least not currently) used to be very long on Sunday at 10 AM.
Burners only:
Pioneer DVR-115D

Own brand of media? do you know if it will include a line of DVDRs? If so I'll have to let my friend know to approach Office Max instead
