Forget about 'investing' and find a great way to spark her interest.

Personality beats cash outlay (within reason, Rich is always an attractive quality to women), if she enjoys you as a person the next date is a shoe-in.

If a girl wants money spent on her, she will always be looking at the next 'wallet' walking through the door.

My girl is beautiful and stays with me because I can melt her heart and make her toes curl, not because I endorse my paycheck.

Well said kevincott.
I have been fortunate to meet and date wonderful women, even if I have possibly yet to find Ms. Right, who have liked me for me, and not for my wallet...

Hey, Monte, are you back from your date yet? Are we getting a complete rundown? Did you get a photo of her for your new avatar. New avatars are all the rage this week. Everybody but Awiz is trying out new ones. Well, Hox needs a new one, too.

i don't think their will be a second date. No picture, she seems really shy / scared around the camera.

The date was cool and all, but you can just tell that their was nothing there. i didn't click like legos. We stated at 10am She didn't talk much when we were alone, except for when we were sitting and talking at lunch. when we were at the lunch and she acttually talked, i was intrested with her; and what she had to say. But after that. it went back to small talk.

Around 4:30pm we hooked up with her friend to go to the Oakland temple. And man did she all of sudden start to talk. I was like, 'where was this girl earlier in the day?!?' Well it was pretty cool. I gave her rain check on going horse back ridding. So if she uses it she does, if not she doesn't.

so to be blunt, i don't really want to go on a second date. as well as she doesn't seem too interested. but then again i was advised that she may just be shy. So if she uses the rain check then yes I will take her out but if not. that is fine too. I don't want to make the move though. She seems like a sweet girl and has a lot going for her. She is rather bussy too! So naybe she'll not have time to use it.

Oh and one more thing, maybe someone can advise me on this. She said she see me at the next dance (tonite/friday), but I don't know if I want to go, because Jennifer may be there. And I really don't want to see her untill the 19th of May since we are on a break right now. Do i risk it to see a girl I am not to interested in or do i just say, nah and go camping with my pops

as for your last question, i think you shouldn't go. if you don't want to go, don't. you don't have to go just to please someone else!

Monte,

Let Jenn go. It's over, all over. It's been a year now. If a girl doesn't know in three months that you are the guy, it will never be. After a year, if she still isn't sure and wants to date around, the message is clear: you've been there nine months too long.

Just go. Don't let Jennifer keep you from having fun. Maybe seeing you and this new girl talking, dancing, etc. will have an affect on her.

Man, screw having the effect on her. I wasn't kidding before: DON'T BE SO DRAMATIC. Stop the drama. Go if you want to, don't go if you don't want to. It truly is that simple. The less you seek complications, the less there will be.

And you were trying to take pictures or film of her on the first date? If you were, dude, that's f-ing weird. Leave the amateur porn persona at home. First dates should have spots in it where you can end it cleanly and without things being awkward. If things are going really well? Take off. Leave on a good note. Don't wait until things fizzle. But it sounds like your first date was a day event. That's a no no. Day events are for things like seminars and shooting. Not dates.

Ok, I agree with Jamie (as always) that a daytime date is not a real date. So go to the dance tonight without regard for Jenn being there or not - that is over, over, over. But consider to be the real first date with the new girl. Maybe she was just shy and needs a little time to loosen up with you.

Then if you need the advice that you mentioned above, here is my 800 number. I'll stick bye it tonight, just in case.

If they have a wi-fi spot at the dance, bring your laptop and PM me for help.

Sometimes it is best to cleanse yourself from other influences, in order to decide what is best and right for you. Good luck, I wish you well!

Hey, I just looked at the bottom and saw Monte logged in. Wow, didn't take much of a break from here.

Maybe he just stopped by to check the latest in avatars. Well he won't be disappointed - my grandaughter is dynamite!
