Hox, you've got a separate partition for these pre-alpha OS installs, I hope? These can be pretty buggy!

Its better than Shorthorn.
A man has been charged after allegedly punching a 73-year-old woman in the face, breaking her nose and stabbing her in the arm with a corkscrew before hitting a second woman with a bottle at a wedding reception in the Whitsunday Islands.

Ah, it's the newer version of MS Windows, coming out in 2006. The one Hox has installed is a pre-alpha, but it looks better than XP, and will probably have much better hardware support out-of-the-box.

It's all in its "Avatar". Have you ever wondered why Microsoft picked Longhorn as the code name for the new windows version? The symbol seemed to be strangely familiar, but I didn't know why. Then it hit me- go back to grade school, looking though Health or Biology text books for information on the subject, and only finding cryptic pictures like this one...

I guess Microsoft will really get a good, stable OS this time.Windows XP works nicely for me.But I would be glad to get my hands on Longhorn.I guess they will change the name as they did with Windows XP,Whistler to XP.

I liked Whistler very much and had it installed on my machine parallely for many months,I guess until I got my hands on Windows XP.When Windows XP was released I converted my system from dual-boot to single OS system.I love Windows XP SP2 beta.Guess what, its about 1 yr and 5 months since I have installed XP and I have not yet faced any problems.I will format and install Windows XP when MS releases SP2 officially.

Wow! Dodecahedron is right. Sherlock Holmes has nothing on you, MediumRare. :o

I think MediumRare needs a custom title to replace "CD-RW Player" and to reflect his uncanny powers of observation and perception. Anyone have any ideas?

That's a good suggestion. Perhaps we could modify to "Undercooked Clairvoyant" to complete the name/avatar/skills theme.

Whoa! That's right! It has been too long since I properly addressed the Great Polyhedral One. I beg your forgiveness, Esteemed Platonic Solid Potentate. :P
