DW-U18A SONY DVD BURNER -FIRMWARE ?

HI,

Can anybody tell me where you can download the latest firmware
for this burner. i have contacted sony.
SONY say they make this unit , but sell it on to other companies.
they say it is the oem model for the du 530 model & the firmware
for this retail unit should work, if other companies re badge it how
do i find the firmware.

DW-U18A is NOT related in any way, shape, or form to the 530. It is a rebadged LiteOn 812S drive.

1/ The latest known firmware is UYS1. To our knowledge, there is nothing newer.
2/ If you want something newer, you could try flashing a LiteOn 812S firmware onto it. See http://dhc014.rpc1.org/
