CD Speed bug or a heck of a bad disc?

I aborted the scan 30 seconds or so after I started it; the position still showed zero. Yeah, CMC sucks, but give me a break!
The read-speed graph was fine, only two minor dips (hint: don't task switch while burning).
Edit: Surface scan was mostly fine (a couple of yellow blocks near the end of the disc, plus that stupid CDSpeed bug about the last block).

It's a bug. I ran into that too- see my post in Nero CD-DVD Speed v3.00 Available For Download.

I just received a reply from Erik Deppe, and he has acknowleded it. It'll be fixed shortly in the next release.
