I hope that the 1X record speed on the Fuji -R is a typo. :o

When you go to the store you will probably get 2x or 4x. The 4x ones will say 4x on the outside package. If it doesn't it should be 2x.

I don't think they would be using 1x. It's probably a typo, I hope.

If Best Buy doesn't have 4x, go over to Compusa and see if they do. If they do then ad match.

I think OfficeMax also carries Fuji media. I'm not sure what kind of Fuji they carry. If they have 50 packs of Fuji 4x dvd-r then add match the price there.

If you order online you will probably get 2x media. You may not though. It's a gamble. I think Fuji has 50 pack of 4x dvd-r, but I'm not sure. I know the 100 packs are 4x.

If you go to Best Buy, Compusa, or OfficeMax, please use know what you find.

If for some reason somone gets 1x media, then just take it back to the store. They should take it back.

Does anyone know what Compusa's and OfficeMax's pricematch policy is? Do they give you a 100% or a 110%.

I just picked up 6 packs of Verbatim Plus R. These are data life, not data life plus. Disc is MCC 002. I was hoping for TY, but will settle for Mitsi. I took a list of coupons from Fatwallet, and she found one that worked for 20 off 75, so I wound up getting 90 discs for 59 dollars out the door. Coupon code I used was 66827590. YMMV with coupon codes, I would strongly recommend doing a search for depot coupons and take the whole list (I also bought a 38 cent box of paperclips to push me over $75 before tax.) I should probably E-Bay the dozens of boxes of clips I've bought in these sales.

You got a very good deal.

How did you get the lady to go through the codes? I didn't think they would let you do that. I'm afraid if I did that, I would get a person that would say if you don't have a coupon then you we can't use any of these.

I just showed her the print out and she started punching in codes until the one I mentioned went through. A lot of it depends on the type of person running the register. In my case, it was a younger gal, I just treated her nice and she returned the favor. The young ones seem more willing to do things like the coupons than the 60 year old grandma types you see there sometimes.

You are right about that. The young ones usually don't care and will use them. The old ones usually won't.
