Partially lost ability to screen capture...

Postby Spazmogen on Tue Jun 22, 2004 9:16 pm

Yuppers, it's true.

I can take a normal print screen, or an ALT+Print Screen.

BUT: if I try an take a screen cap with a video playing in Media Player Classic or other software, the movie is not displayed at all. Only the outside window. Where the video should be is black.

Nero Vision has also lost the ability to capture video stills.

Any ideas?

Hmm, that happened to me once, and, well, I never did anything about it. I wouldn't mind seeing a fix though.

You probably need a DirectShow "compatible" capture program.

Thanks Shredder, but it was working fine for a while, then it stopped.

But your post gave me an idea: re-install Direct X.

Problem solved.

Thanks guys!
