More Shenanigans

I dunno what's up with the script kiddies these days. We had some idiot create a few hundred forum accounts. There will be no new accounts until we can clean them up (and prevent a way from this from happening).

For those wondering, the guy went by "TeKnO<MaN" and his IP Is 213.243.30.170.

What a shame. Even if they were mad about Jase "stealing" the photos, taking it out on CDRLabs doesn't help anything. A simple email to the site administrators would have been more appropriate.

What is up with that thread anyway?? How did it get 71924 views? That is way out of line. Normally a thread with that many posts would get something like 200 views, which I can't imagine would bother anyone. I wonder if that is what made them angry - so many requests for their bandwidth with cdrlabs.com as the referrer. It makes me wonder if there was some other script attacking them through that page. Or did the attack itself cause all those views?

In any event, if the mass account sign-up was some sort of "revenge" by saabnetwork, then it was pretty immature way to handle things.

I should have known you already had it covered. :) But I don't have much need to check the registration page these days... maybe I will have to try it out just for kicks.
