@dolphinius_rex: Heck, I expect to be learning from you! I've been gone too long and forgotten everything, while you've kept busy and obviously are perfecting your test and evaluation skills.

@Alejandra: Sure we care for each other! :) Not all men are knuckle dragging cretins.

@CowboySlim: Yeah, I missed Alejandra and her avatar parade. How about this high fashion one?

I love a woman in a stylish hat. :) Of course, this same woman looks a bit too frightening for me in some of her other pics, e.g.:

@VEFF and pranav81: Thanks. Good to be back.

@Ian: Thanks Ian. I was afraid I might be persona non-grata around here since I still owe you stuff. By the way, I haven't forgotten that stuff. So there is no need to send JamieW to knock on my door with his collection of "toys". (Of course, I propably would enjoy seeing some of JamieW's toys)

CFitz: The stylish women are certainly a step up in class, possibly, beyond appreciation of some here. Nevertheless, they are second, albeit a close second, only to my current avatar (granddaughter, who is 2 years old today).

Congratulations! I hope you had a fun birthday party with her. And, of course, your avatar is the undisputed champion*. I wouldn't dream of challenging her. :D

* That is, at least until (if) Kennyshin and (soon) Dodecahedron and others start posting their own little ones as avatars. If that happens then I will just have to declare an N-way tie. 8)

hi guys!
i'm back!

thanks for your attention and concern.
i really appreciate it - it's nice to have friends! :D

like cfitz said, my computer was taken for repairs and i was without net access for over a week.
plus, very busy period with work.
and also very hectic with all th preparations for the baby that's coming.

it's really surprising - after a week one finds out that it's actually possible to have a life without the internet and without CDRLabs forums. the first few days are hard though...
the wife was rather pleased - she got more quality time with me

good to be back! :P

I would do things to audrey hepburn that no man should ever do to anyone.

As per Jamie's fantasy, she's doing the Chinese Typewriter:

The Chinese Typewriter - Jumping side-to-side reversing toes-in, toes out.

(from In The 80's reference site. I found the bookmark for it in Jamie's browser... )

I think Jamie watches "I Love The 80's" a little too much.

It is a little disturbing that he can so easily toss out, off the cuff, names of 80's dances like the Chinese Typewriter the way he did. I hadn't ever heard of it, and had to look it up...

I'm a sage on many levels. But that's not the jacket. The jacket he is talking about is the red one with the gold mesh on the shoulders and about a billion zippers. The one he wore in the "Beat It" video.

God, that "Thriller" album was actually f*$%ing tight. I need to buy that again. And the video for "Billie Jean" was really revolutionary. Older MJ = rocks hard. Modern MJ = rocks boys.
