Nutech 081 Problem

Hello,

All of a sudden my Nutech 081 has stopped being able to read CD/CDR/CDRW's...it reads and writes DVD's no problem.

Any ideas?

I have firmware B373.

Help!!! :cry:

As of yet there is no information regarding this, i allready requested an update on the problem from Taiwan.

Is this a problem others have had as well?

Should I try downgrading to an older firmware just to try or is this not possilbe?

Seems there's a pickup-head problem with some drives which is under examination by phillips, will keep posted for any fixes.

I have a similar problem

I have the NuTech DDW-081 B373

My drive can't write DVD+ medias. But other types like CD or DVD+RW can be burned.i

IS there any news about this problem?

My DDW-081 is going back for another repair on the same problem that you guys are experiencing. It was good for about 50 burns then just drop dead. Not getting another Nu drive again [-X

until they're proven to be reliable.
