Maxell DVD+R9 disc

What is Maxell DVD+R9 media code/manufacturer ? Maxell himself ?

Does they burn on a NEC 2510 f/w 2.16 ?

Interesting timing... I just E-Mailed Maxell about this today

I haven't seen any yet, have you seen them advertised somewhere? I don't think it's Maxell's own media, since as far as I'm aware, they have not applied for verification through Philips yet, but I could be mistaken. I think it would be unlikely for it to be a Ritek OEM too, since I don't think Ritek's media meets Maxell's specifications (like Ritek's 8x media...) so it would possibly be Mitsubishi?

A french guy with a NEC 2510 told me he could get them locally in a few day for 7.50 euros, and I was :o because in france their is a 3 euros taxe/DL disc !

Someone has made a mistake, sure :D , maybe the reseller price is bad.

But it's interesting to know if the Maxell DL disc has a media code suported by NEC...
