Can there be a bigger joke than this.....

Web sites are posting links like: Microsoft Offers Free Windows XP Service Pack 2 CD

And then links like this: How To Remove Windows XP Service Pack 2

B.T.W. what is the opinion of our forum members on Win XP SP-2?

Any Athlon 64 users want to comment on the much talked about firewall and the antivirus?

No problems at my end with SP2 at all.

But, I am also using a legal copy of XP Home as well. I wonder how many people with illegal copies of XP are having trouble ? :D

I've disabled the XP firewall as I have a software one already & I'm behind a NAT router.

More interesting is what do Athlon 64 users think about DEP, and what do Intel users think about their lack of hardware DEP?

It's like how he takes a bath - every Sat. night whether needed or not. Fresh install of XP and then bath.

Oh, okay. Yes, SP2 works with all versions of XP. Home, Pro or otherwise; it makes no difference.

By the way, I like Slim's explanation better.

Like Cfitz rightly said, we want reactions from Athlon 64 owners.
