is there a new patch for Windows XP users who use Nero?

Nero Burning ROM, Nero Express, NeroVision Express, Recode, InCD, etc..

thanks, Pilgrim :)

so i gathered, but i was assuming there was a single-computer version equivalent file? well, maybe no.

You can also just burn the SP-2 files to a CD to use on anyone's PC that has XP installed.

so what you're saying is that this 266M file is what i was looking for. OK.

do you have a link to some instructions on how to make a slipstread SP2 WinXP CD?

here is what they call a network install of SP2, its just easier for IT professionals to download the sp2 and bring it computer to computer to install instead of turning on auto update

so yes here is the link for the 266mb download of sp2, just double click it after you download it and it will install:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... P2-ENU.exe

for slipstreaming it into a windows cd go here for info:

glad i could help btw

dodecahedron,

I sent you a PM in regard to SlipStreaming, but I haven't heard from you. If you would rather do it manually as per the link that hoxlund provided, that's fine. There is a much easier method to create a bootable slipstreamed CD. Image

what do you mean manually, thats the only way to slipstream sp2 into a cd

at least thats the only way i could even think of, unless you come up with some script which does all the steps for you, which would still take the same amount of time

First you use this: AutoStreamer

And then you simply burn the bootable ISO to a CD using Nero/Nero Express.
