It's not too bad, 40 hours for my weekday job, 11 hours for my weekend job, 51 hours a week in total.
The weekday job I sort of got forced into; I didn't really need the money and wanted to enjoy the rest of my summer (finished my last summer course on August 11th) and I've been told I needed the experience.
Oh well, now I have more money for optical stuff, and a new CPU/mobo. :)

I am enjoying it, thank you Ian. I had a great time this AM playing tennis with dear friends.

Labor Day is supposed to be a day of labor around your house and property to prepare for things like upcoming school year and so on.
A man has been charged after allegedly punching a 73-year-old woman in the face, breaking her nose and stabbing her in the arm with a corkscrew before hitting a second woman with a bottle at a wedding reception in the Whitsunday Islands.

Here's a real bummer...I worked days all weekend (12 hours each) and got the holiday Monday off. 30 minute lunch break (each day) and that's it! Such is the life of a police dispatcher on a holiday weekend.

But I'm government. I get 12 hours in my Stat Holiday bank for being off on a Stat ! Yeah baby.

The 12 hours of bank time just equalizes my shifts with those government workers who only do 8 hours a day. Notice I didn't say "work" 8 hours a day...

Well Yoav's mother was 2 weeks early with her Labour Day. :D

I had to work on Monday- normal working day. "Labour day" is May 1 in most of Europe and is used by organized labour (and others) to make policy statements. This year it was a Saturday. :( In Frankfurt, it's also known for the big bicycle race Rund um den Henninger-Turm which draws hundreds of thousands of spectators. See this for my opinion on Henninger beer.
