Sorry, the date has been pushed back to October 28th now due to some delays in developing certain features.

And the H.264 support for Nero Digital's MPEG-4 Encoding will more than likely not be available till End of November. We are working hard to finish development sooner, so its possible there will be an earlier release of H.264 support, but do not count on it till end of November.

Sorrry for the delay.

Craig

Hi Ian,

It's the 29th. :D

Sorry, just a joke. It's the 28th for sure. I have a trip on the 25th and just got the dates mixed. :o

P.S. Were you able to download the link I sent you for your 'testing'?

Hey,

I remember hearing about a new Nero 'Reloaded' a few weeks back and figured great!

Now I hear about Nero 6.6, is that the same?

Also I keep seeing the buz about this new short lead-out but what is the trade-off if any? Does the short lead out have the same quality? Also is it going to be automatic and part of the normal burn process or do you have go figure out each time if you want to use it and check a box?

Thankx,

Ah! My Tombstone pizza is done! Voila! =P~ ::hey I'm easy::

We are calling this new build to be posted officially on Oct. 28 the Nero 6.6 Reloaded.

And using this new Short-Lead out there is a possibility that some stereo's will have trouble playing Audio CDs, but we've yet to see it.

And yes, Nero 6.6 will contain a new version of Nero Vision Express 3. And a new version of Nero Recode 2.1, but without the H264 Encoder not due out till End of November.

Reards,

I just downloaded that 80 meg thing from TCmagazine and interestingly the Media Player would not recognize my serial number. I could only run it by clicking on demo.

Not to much concern though because I never used it much but the my serial number should work. Maybe they need to fix that.

Photo Snap Viewer

With the Photo Snap Viewer I'd also suggest they 'also' allow viewing the next / previous photos with the Left/Right arrow keys instead of just the mouse.

The Link to Nero 6.6.0.1 in CDRLABS is wrong and takes to Nero6.3.1.25. May be Ian wants to correct that.

Update-Package 2 still shows NeroVision Express 2, is this a mistake?
