How fast is too fast?

Aopen COM5232 Vs. Aopen COM5232pro

Postby spryfly on Tue Nov 09, 2004 7:13 pm

What is the difference between the Aopen COM5232 and thee Aopen COM5232pro? I bought the pro thinking that I was getting the regular one. I noticed that they have different firmware. Can I flash them back and forth between the two models. The Aopen COM5232 seems to have better firmware. Please advise.

aopen finally got back to me with an answer as to what the difference is. just in case anyone else is interested.....

Thanks your feedback, the COM5232/AAH PRO is advantage of
COM5232/AAH. The only little different from outside look but the PUH
(Pick Up Head) and Controller has improve the read/write performance.
Due the controller different the firmware should be separate. (The other
technical spec. all the same).

looks like i did well by accident........ :D
