I've heard the +R can be either CMCMAG.F-something or MCC 03 (probably made in the same factory). I ordered online in the wee hours of the morning so I hope I get the MCC!

I think the -R are pretty much universally CMC.

Thought that the base holder might tell the difference.... like a report here int he Forum about Teon 4x => Phillips 8x.... However, it seems that the 2 spindles that I got, with black thin bottom are all CMC MAG E01.
One of the spindle have more elaborate marking (recycling symbol, manufacture date etc), The other is just a recycling symbol...
I don't see any other kind of spindle bottom.... I guess the MCC003 ones are rather rare then.... was hoping to get some MCC003 TEON for testing....
Darn it... :(

The -R I got were CMC. For 8 cents for what will amount to a throwaway disc that's not bad.

My parents in FLA got me a spindle on Black Friday.

I'll have them in the last week of January.

I'm looking forward to trying media that is not available up here in Canada.
