New Plextor 716A Firmware v1.03 avaliable for download

Yesterday I wrote a post and pasted some links of a new firmware version for this drive. Today I found the link...

I donb't have one myself so I can't really test it. Hope they finally fixed some issues on the drive. On the other topic, it was reoprted that maybe a 1.04 version would be due real soon inspite of this latest update. We also heard of a new hardware revison so we might see tla 0303 or even 0304 in a neer future...

It's now official, Plextor europe has on their site for download.

Finally real volumes of the drive seem to have shipped . So it's there just (yeah really just befor christmas)
No wonder that there is also a new firmware update.
Allways when real volumes of the drive hit the market then Plextor Europe seems to launch a new firmware.
It's funny that this is the only PX-716 firmware listed on there site.
(That's because European drives should be TLA0202 mostly which means allready comming with 1.02 firmware.)
