Is there a difference in the G7P9 and B7P9? Or is it OEM vs retial?

No G is oem and B is benQ

there is also G7Z9 around. I seen it listed in one of the treads.

It seems like the B7P9 is the most popular...from I have seen people have cross-flashed to the B7P9 if they had OEM. It also seems that most people have had the better or best burns with B7P9.

What are your thoughts?

It is hard to keep up with all of these FW's
