New Pioneer drives - real aluminium or plastic underneath?

Postby Buck on Thu Dec 23, 2004 3:34 pm

Regarding these fancy new Pioneers, my question to people who own or closely inspected these drives - what's the front bezel made of in 'silver' versions? Is it metal? Is it just painted plastic?

I haven't inspected one, but I can tell you that they are all plastic.

It's plastic. Has a "textured" look to it to make it look like metal.

The tan ones have the same texture too.
