Nero Recode

Postby technoboy on Thu Jan 20, 2005 9:24 am

Hello,

After Ver. NVE3014 I have found that when you try to dupe a movie, if you click on the drive containing the movie I get an error that says it can not read the .vob file. when using ver 3014 or before I dont have this problem and the box pops up and away we go analysing the movie, etc.
I was wondering if there is a reason why the newer versions of the program can not access the disc (by clcking the drive letter) as opposed to having to click on the VIDEO_TS directory instead.

Any insight would be great.

Thanks!

You are correct, it is doing that now, and it did not do this in the past.

I'll generate a bug report on this issue. We'll soon find out if they did it on purpose or if this is a bug in the new version.

Hello,

Thanks for the quick reply. One reason I am "concerned" is that if you click on the drive vs. the directory I am hoping that it would also dup any other directorys like the jacket_ts etc.
Any thoughts or comments?

Thanks!

To be honest, I'll have to test with an older version of Recode, or wait for the new one, as I have never looked into if it would import content from other directories such as Jacket_TS.
