The 25 pack of Fuji that are on sale are 2.4X speed which is not that much of good deal. You can find Fuji 8X speed pack of 25 for $9.99 in other places.

In store they are the 8x discs and I believe that if you placed an order online that you would receive the 8x discs as well.

I haven't seen 2.4x Fuji media at Best Buy in a long time!

What happens is that some manufacturers just ship new, faster media with the same UPC code. So the inventory transition is seamless. This also means it makes it difficult for the website and stores to actually tell you what they have if it is during a transition phase.

The BB in town had the Fuji +R 8x made in Japan, but the -R all said made in Taiwan.

burninfool,
Is Seagate a good drive? Cause I'm looking for one to make it external.
TIA

So far I'm liking my Seagate 200GB SATA drive, but then again, I've only had it for about 2 weeks.

@ruderacer,
I've only had it installed for one day but it runs very quiet and it has a five year warranty.

Seagate is the best HDD manufacturer in my opinion. Much quieter than my Maxtor and has the longest warranty in the industry.
