I am quickly losing my freak and I have been a Sony fan for DVC, DVD and other consumer products.

My DRU-500A was great with good support. MY DRU-710A has very marginal support.

I will definitely reconsider other products after this.

Same here! I have a cdrw drive that is not as good as they use to be.
Pick and chose! Some are great products.
