Thanks, ETP.
I just spent forty bucks yesterday for the same disks @ the Richmond Va store. They finally had plenty of + & - R media, made in Japan stock...

That seems to be the going rate at BB, it's been "on sale" at that price for at least a month. Every time, I've seen Japan media, and it burns real nice at 16X in my 1620. wish DL was that price :-(

Nice deal, but I still haven't even opened ANY of the following due to essentially not burning a single DVD on my PC DVD burner in 9 months or so!!! I did burn a some +R on my home DVD recorder (TV shows).

- 200 Fuji (TY) 8X +R I got for $31.98 + tax (another $1.90) out the door [i.e. NO mail-in rebates] with free shipping (after instant coupon) a month or so ago.

The price on those was apparently changed from $3.99 for 25 to $8.99 after SEVERAL days - an apparent price mistake that they honored for those who ordered online or bought in store before it went out of stock.

- 75 TDK +R for $15 + tax after rebate (received all three rebate checks already - 1 per 25 pack)

- 100 Maxell DVD-R w/ 100 jewel cases for $17.50 + tax out the door.

- 25 Memorex 4X DVD+RW for $9.99 + tax out the door.

Can anyone say major slowdown lol :)

Actiually, I have burned a bunch of TV shows (~ 15 episodes) on DVD+R on my home DVD recorder in the past few weeks, but I have been using some old left over HP 2.4X +R and Verbatim 2.4X since the recording is done @ 1X (real time TV show recording).
Burners only:
Pioneer DVR-115D
Pioneer DVR-111D
Plextor PX-716A TLA0304
Plextor PX-716A same TLA

LiteOn 52246S 52X CD-RW
LiteOn 52246S (another)
LiteOn 52327S 52X CD-RW
TDK 40X USB 2.0 CD-RW

No luck for me. The -R at my local Best Buy are Taiwanese. Does anyone know who makes the Taiwanese -R for Fuji?

The 25 count spindle that I have are Prodisk F01.

Other folks have reported the 50 count spindles as Prodisk...

I've also seen some with a MID of FUJIFILM03. I believe these are manufactured by Prodisc for Fuji.
