NEC ND-3520A Firmware

Am i missing something? or is there just not any new firmware out for this drive?

Nope, you're not missing anything. I know there is a new one in the works for some OEM's.. but nothing has been released yet.

Since we are on the subject, what are the differences between the 3500 and the 3520?

so my new 3520 does support burning dvd-r DL?

It will eventually. NEC is planning on releasing a firmware in March that will add support for it. Of course, you'll still need to find media. Good luck...

yeah no problem, as long as they are planning on releasing firmware thats all that matters
