Pioneer DVR-109 => where's the Region Free firmware ?

Hi

Had my 109 for a while now and it *seems* that a Region free firmware is taking quite a while to becomae available ?!?!

Anyone know of any reason why a Region Free 109 Firmware *seems* to be taking so long to become available ?
