I had heard that Newegg was trying to break into the Asian market, but I didn't realize that they had opened a store over there already.

Is the ND-3540A for sale over there yet?

Not yet, they have an advertising banner at the head of each page Ian,
but if you press on it then only the 3520 is being dumped like in Holland
too, the prices are dropping fast.

I think they push hard to get rit of the 3520 to make place for the 3540,
so we see the 3540 sooner then we thought.

I thought it was going to ship soon too, but I talked to one of my contacts at NEC earlier this week and they still had no gotten any shipments of the 3540 yet. He seems to be one of the first to get them here in the US too.

Alternate in germany also has it in the list of optical drives without a picture, that means not yet available article.

We have also in Holland an Alternate.nl shop, they are big
I will keep checking too.

Thanks, it WAS working when I posted it. I tested it in the preview mode before I submitted it.

The link from France shows a release date of April 19th (I think). My French is getting better every day.

I think their search mode relies on cookies. I try to leave these off.

Here's direct a link to the bulk version. Click on the coloured bars Image at upper left for availability.

Looks promising. Question is if it's realistic. Alternate is usually reliable with estimated dates.

The date in FRANCE is indeed 19 April (Tuesday) the link works,
at Alternate.de the color availability must be green!
And indeed the date is changed to May.
