There are two pack of these Fuji one made in Taiwan and another made in Japan mixed in the same shelves. The one with bright paper rapped is usually made in Taiwan and the one with faded kink of color if made in Japan. For example the one on the picture in the link above is made in Taiwan. This is only my own observation.

BTW: The verbatim DVD+/-R (8X) pack of 25 is also on sale in Beat Buy for $$11.99.

I got some Verbatim DVD+R, 16X at buy.com for about $0.40 per, AMIR & free shipping a while back. Got the rebates back with out any hassle. Kind of waiting for that to come back again.

Those Fuji rebates for the CD-Rs of the last several years at Best Buy and Office Max were a real nightmare.

checked 3 of my local BB (philadelphia area) - all of them have Fuji DVD-R made in Taiwan only.... On the other hand, all DVD+R are made in Japan.

But my on-loan Panasonic DVD recorder (standalone) only takes -R...

so I ended up having to buy Verbatim 4x DVD-R (movie label) - made in Tawain. They are on sale - $8.99 for 25. I wonder if these have MCC code as opposed to made in Taiwan Fuji (which is CMC I believe ?).

Is amazing in LGB area, BB ad for this week the Verbatim pack of 25 is on sale for $12.99 and in the east you bought it for $8.99.
