Yeah, I'm seeing it at 1pm and 7pm. With the kid I'm too damn tired to stay up and watch the first showing.

Are they playing the first three in a row in Israel? I wish they were around here.

i dunno, i didn't bother to find out since i won't be able to go anyway.
but when the LOR III came out, the first showing was as i recall very late Wednesday night, they had a 3-movie marathon starting 1700 and ending 0330 roughly. movie I 1/2 hour break movie II 1/2 hour break movie III. i'm sure the same cinemas will do the same with StarWars.

i tell you, that was great! i was so hyped i didn't even feel tired or cramped or anything after more than 10 hours in the cinema!

as it happens, i talked about it with the wife today, and i said we can always do our own marathon when the DVDs come...ha! no way not with a baby in the house! #-o

I ordered my tickets on April 23rd, :)

I'm going with 2 friends, and we're going to miss our 7th hours to go see it a bit earlier. :)

I'm trying to get into the pre-screening for employee's of the theatre too! If that happens, I'll be seeing it on (probably) tuesday, then Wednesday at midnight, and then possibly the following weekend, or the weekend after that with my regular anime group (which is neither regular, nor going to be watching anime at that time :P).

you know what... I have never seen any of the star wars. not even 4, 5, or 6. I have only seen small clips.
And with the small clips, i don't see why any of this is interesting at all

That's probably why you're such a warped romantic.

If you were more like Han Solo, you'd probably have better luck with the ladies.

That's it. Ban him. Ban ban ban ban ban ban ban. Then unban him so you can ban him again. And when he isn't looking, create a name MonteLDS2 and ban that name, too.

I think we should just sentence him to Nerf herding for the rest of his life. ;)

But certainly not sufficiently scoundrel-ish.

No, he's more naive like Luke from A New Hope. Kinda C3PO-ish too.

Sit down and watch the original trilogy. If you don't like it... then there's no hope for you.

Better yet, read Joseph Campbell's "Hero with a Thousand Faces" after watching the trilogy. Since I saw the SW trilogy as I kid, I read this book long after I saw the movies, but I suppose you could read it beforehand as well.

Hrm, maybe try setting girls up to go out with Monte then, and then do a switch :D

It's horrible, that's what it is.

I miss the original figures made by Kenner (who later went bankrupt but invented some of the coolest toys like the Sit `n Spin ;) ). I remember being the first on my block to get Yoda. I was cool. :D

Saw EP III just now. Loved it.. MUCH better than 1 and 2.. but quite disturbing as well.

My ranking of all 6 movies:

1) Empire Strikes Back
2) A New Hope
3) Return of the Jedi
4) Ep 3
5) Ep 2
6) Ep 1

Can't wait for this DVD..
