NTSC >PAL

hi guys, is there any software i can use to copy a NTSC dvd to Pal DVD? I know most of the dvd copy programs such as clonedvd, intervideo dvd copy dvdfab will copy dvds, is there anything available to convert the system and burn the dvd?

Rip your DVD Video (NTSC) in your hard drive then open the Nero VisionExpress 3 to burn this ripped Video front your hard drive, on Nero Vision Express click on more (icon), click on Video default option, set the Video Mode from NTSC to Pal and proceed with burning proceeds.

Have you tried making a copy with DVDDecrypter or DVDShrink?I ask because most PAL players support NTSC and all PC's support both.

You will need DVDDecrypter(to rip in File mode) and IFOEdit.

As with all of the above suggestions I suggest testing with a DVD/RW.

I was going to say a similar thing myself. Almost all DVD players support NTSC, whether they be PAL or NTSC by default, and what's more the vast majority of televisions sold in PAL countries in the last 10+ years are NTSC compatible as well.

An NTSC->PAL conversion will likely result in a degradation of the smoothness of the motion. Only do it if absolutely necessary. A PAL DVD player that isn't multiregion should play copies (which are region-free) recorded in NTSC no problem.

I've used the process described by TCAS hundreds of times with great success! Keep in mind that this process only converts the video files and will not work properly with the original menus etc.
