Nero -At what speed you guys burn your music CDs?

Postby btiger on Tue Jul 26, 2005 4:05 pm

I used my dvd burner mostly for burning data dvrs and data cdrs and I've great results with those, however upon burning my first music cd (using Nero - mp3 to cda), 3 out of the 18 songs were skipping?

What's the best way to prevent skipping? Do you burn to HDD/image recorder first or straight to cdr?

Thanks.

HDD (WAV) => CD-R

Lowest speed available (aka 4X or 8X) for lowest jitter.

Depends on the source.

If I'm doing an entire disc, I'll burn it DAO @ 32x (the laser never shuts off).

TAO I'll go as high as 8x but no faster.
