Use your ISP's instead. It's free. :) Man, I miss having Verizon DSL.

If that's not an option, find the best value Usenet provider. Usenetserver has unlimited access for $15/month; that's not bad at all.

Easy.... I started buying my movies

I only use newsgroups for the occasional TV show (mostly bittorrent), and movies that are supposed to be REALLY horrible, but I can't help but feel I want to see anyways.

I use Supernews, been with them since they were Netlink. They used to suck at retention but now they seem to hold for about 15 days give or take. 119 a year for 10 gig a month, which I almost never use up. I spose if you guys know of a better yearly sub I might be interested. Friend uses giganews and pays for the 40 gig a month plan, like 45 a month too or something. I also use my ISP when I do go over but like all ready stated it only holds for about 2/3 days.

Nothing beats Newshosting.com. Not even close. $15 for unlimited (I've gotten over 1MBps from them, that's the fastest connection I've ever been on) just is absolutely insane. Plus that whole 40~45 day retention thing that's supposed to be happening...

Except that my bandwidth limit is 30GB per month, split between 3 people (including myself). So I can't take advantage of it enough to make it worth it. Besides, buying movies is more satisfying for me

They have an Unlimited plan for $25 a month! Apparently, they also offer 10 simultaneous connections now too, not that it matters a whole lot, since the bottleneck is going to be on your end of the line anyways.

giganews baby, highest month bandwidth was 220GB

retention is like 50 days or 30, can't remember

1.45MBps is my highest, or in mbps terms 4.51mbps

but aviationwiz is right, the bottleneck would now be your down speed not concurrent connections

I chose Giganews because it sounds like a pokemon.

I like the way you say really retarded things then cry when you get a response. Now go tell Ian he's a bad parent again.

First thing I thought of was, "Circle gets the square." It's fun to say, just like, "Survey says!"
