Has a center stacking ring (which I hate). I burned one disc so far -- on a Pioneer DVR-A09 -- and the CDSpeed Quality Test came back okay. High 80s if I remember correctly. Only burned at 12x in the Pioneer drive.

DVD Media reports at VideoHelp.com indicate the 16x DVD-R media is CMC MAG. AM3

Thanks for information Thegdog, I went Bestbuy today but could decide to buy any Memo 16X, before I know more about them since I have over 500 disc from Maxell, FujiFilm both made in Japan and really for time being I do not need any disc.

Memorex used to use CMC discs in their 16x +R spindles but recently I've seen CMC manufactured MMC discs and Ricoh.

I've also gotten Prodisc in 16x DVD+R spindles of Memorex.

According to posts at VideoHelp.com, the following MID codes have been used in Memorex 16x DVD+R:
CMC MAG.M01
MCC.....004
PHILIPS.C16
PRODISC.R04
RICOHJPNR03

Which basically means you could get CMC, Prodisc, or Ritek. I wouldn't be surprised if RITEKR04 media is possible also.
