At BB !!!

In addition, you can order Verbatim +R DL (10 pack) for $20 on-line and ask for instore delivery (no shipping)...

That's down to $2.00 each for a DL disc !!!!!
Using Plextor 716UF...
Using BenQ 1620...
Thinking about BenQ 1640...
Would love a BenQ Blu-Ray...

Kudo's go to Beach-Hobo :D I never checked the on-line price.

I have been checking Staples on-line since the store clearance.. their price is holding steady @ $15.98 for the three pack.

Cool! I totally missed the Staples DL sale (all gone by the time I got there) but this is pretty cool. I've never bought DL media before, grabbed 2, we'll see how they work on my burner.

And all the Fuji DVD-R at my local BB was MIT. About 50% of the +R was MIJ. Interesting, since the picture in the ad shows the TY cakebox for the DVD-Rs. ;) I may check the BB near my work... it hit me the other week I was running REALLY low on stocks of 'good' media, I think I have more than made up for it the last couple of weeks (Staples with the Verbatim clearance and Fuji sale, Supermediastore's TYG01 sale, BB's 100 pack Fuji +Rs last week)..

oh gawd where to store all the media?!?!?! :)

I tried that, and BestBuy.com sent me the confirmation to pick up the order at the store, but I went there, they didn't have it.

The guy said the computer showed 5 spindles in stock, but there were none in the pick-up area, nor were there any on the shelf. He said "I don't know what they picked for your order, but it wasn't the right media."

So he cancelled my order, so I could reorder it online and have it shipped to me instead. (Free shipping if you order 2.)

Has anyone received their DL media order yet? Someone at Fatwallet said they got 2 packs of LightScribe CD-R media and I'm wondering if someone at BB had a major screwup (putting the wrong media on sale, wrong SKU, etc)...

Just curious, don't mean to freak anyone out, BB free shipping takes forever to get to me. (Should've done in-store pickup!!!! Grrrrrr...)

To all who have purchased Verbatim DL media from Best Buy. Please post the link to the 10pk for $20. I went to the website and a 10pk is $62. Where is the $20 package you are talking about. Please. Much thanks.

Too late, now I'm freaked out! It's all Beach-Hobo's fault

I just checked tracking, mine are in Ohio. I guess we will know in a couple of days.

Consider yourself lucky as hell if you do end up getting the right discs, instead of either the wrong media, or a friendly email saying that product was discontinued, even though when you originally ordered, you were told only 5-7 business days before shipping. :(

Mine are in Ohio as well.

I'm eager to see what is in the box as well. Considering they messed up the first order I placed for them, I won't be happy if this one is messed up too. Would be time to contact the BBB again. That would make it the third time I've complained to the BBB about BestBuy.com.

Someone else on Fatwallet confirmed they got the RIGHT media...

I'll be seeing these sometime next year the speed this UPS/USPS hybrid service they're using gets them to me. :P

LOL, USPS tracking still shows the package in Ohio. That's three days now.

Back when I made the initial order for the Verbatim DL I also ordered one pack for in-store pick up. I took a break from work today and went by BestBuy. The sku off the web site worked for the dual layer media in the store.

Just a guess, the person who received the wrong media may have ordered incorrectly or someone at the Best Buy warehouse put the wrong media in the box.

Yay, FINALLY got my Verbatim DVD+R DL discs today! Little did I know 'free shipping' means 'carrier pigeon'. They're the right ones, even.

Thanks again for posting this deal!
