Me too, I would love to see that, but alas, they'd probably screw Unreal up just like all the other adaptations over the years (computer games, comics, etc)

I will go see Doom, maybe next weekend, too busy this weekend.

Saw it! The first half was pretty much what I expected, kinda boring but with plenty of violence. The last half or so... HOLY CRAP there is a cool twist. Its probably been spoiled for most of you, but lets just say the terms FPS have NEVER been this well implemented in a movie before EVER! The Rock gets totally owned too, more than enough reason to see it :D

I saw it, it wasn't too bad, but parts of it were rather boring. If your not a gamer, there is a good chance you'll hate it.

What's wrong Hox, you Pirate? Can't you sneak in the theater for free?

Won't they let you in with your own popcorn from home to save $5?

Honestly, I thought the FPS part sucked. To me, it was just a ten-minute shill for DOOM 3, and I thought it cheapened the movie. I already bought the game, and if they're going to advertise it to me, let them do it before the movie, not during.

The movie was better than I expected, but the FPS part brought it down a good notch for me.

I just got back from seeing it.

I thought the beginning of the movie was pretty good (by brainless shoot'em'up standards), and the middle was ok.... but the end of the movie left a lot to be desired.

I'm not going to say anymore then that, for fear of ruining parts for people.

My recommendation would be to NOT pay full price for this movie... but it's MUCH better to see it on the big screen (*cough*hoxlund*cough*) then on your computer screen

:(

Surely I'm not the only one who liked it? It was just so unexpected for me. I dunno, I guess I really like seeing true-to-form adaptions of some of my favorite games ;)
