Any good cdr drives

Postby Jayfaas on Sat Dec 17, 2005 4:06 pm

Im looking to buy a new cd burner for a buddy of mine. Whats a real stable one, for not so much of a hefty price, that'll just do good burns and last a while? Doesnt really need to have amazing compatibility between different types of media

Lite-on CD writers are reliable.
But then again DVD writers are cheap these days, so I'm not sure if getting a CD writer is worthwhile these days.

It may never. According to a poster on CDFreaks, the Plex Premium has been end-of-lifed. They're VERY hard to find now and even Plextor doesn't have them.

Really sucks. :(
