Computer problems - new keyboard that lowers cpu temp

Postby hoxlund on Sun Dec 18, 2005 5:17 pm

WTF is going on with my computer? 77F now

can i blame it on the new mouse and keyboard i just bought?

Keyboard - http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/produ ... NTID=10717

Mouse - http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/produ ... NTID=10715

my actual cooling hasn't changed, same heatsink and fans i've always used

but my cpu temp is now 77F, where as a month ago I was at no lower then 80F

Cooler ambient temps? New BIOS?

Either way, quit complaining/bragging! ;) ;)

BIOS can definitely have an effect on the temp readings.... it can change the way the chip is calibrated.

I'd trade the whole kit and kaboodle in for a Commodore Amiga.
