Postby Albinoni on Tue Dec 27, 2005 10:37 am

I want to make a backup of a 2hr 10min movie. Can a 4.7GB DVD suffice to accomodate it ?

Hello!

I need more details.

Usually a DVD = 2 HR

But it depends on the bitrate.

What´s the source of the movie? HDD/DVD-Recorder, original DVD-movie?

The answer is yes-just use DVD Shrink to rip/shrink the movie on your hard disc and then burns that with Nero. That will do it. BTW with this process you can back up an even 4-hour movie in single DVD disc but the draw back is since you are shrink the movie for back up you are compromising the quality of your backup movie.
