Lite-On EZ-DUB or LG GSA-2166D?

Postby Pete7874 on Sat Dec 31, 2005 10:00 am

Hi!

I'd like to get an external (USB 2.0) DVD burner. I'm looking at the reviews of these two, and honestly can't see much difference between them as far as burning quality goes. Is one better than the other? I don't care about LightScribe, so that is not deciding factor.

Is there another external burner in that price range that I should consider instead?

Thanks!

Pete

The Plextor PX-740UF is pretty nice as well. You could just make your own though. Just buy an external case and whatever internal drive you want.

Thanks for the suggestion. Is the 740UF basically the same drive as the 740A except for being external?
