Hack This Mac Contest

I wouldn't normally mention this kinda garbage but this was sponsored by one of the Mac fan(atic)s at the university where I work.

Contrary to what the article says, the UW did not know this guy was doing this. In fact, the campus security and network guys didn't even know about it until our department's security brought it up to them.

You may have heard or read about a "Mac OS X challenge" that was issued by one of our staff. It was not an activity authorized by the UW-Madison. Our primary concern is for the security and network access of UW services.
