A friend forwarded me this link, and I was pretty disturbed by some of what was said, so I decided to spread the word.... don't buy into Urge!!

I would not have used this service even without knowing this, I prefer to deal with my own purchases, etc. After reading this, I wouldn;t use Urge if it was the last source of music in the free world!!

Thanks for the link Dolph.

MTV was created by the devil; we all know that. Or if not, its evolution was guided by him. They started out innovative, and now it's just another stagnant, conglomerate whore for the media industry. I rank them with Clear Channel and others. Knowing they are a part of Urge would be enough for me to never use the service, just like I'd never use any service that Clear Channel was a part of.

P.S. Side-rant: As a result of MTV, bands must now look good on television and posters to be successful; good music isn't a requirement.

Ouch! Why people pay for these streaming doohickies is beyond my comprehension, but this new development seals that deal in nearly every way...
