I nearly bought the:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Dual Core Processor Socket AM2 Windsor 2.0GHZ 2X512KB 89W 90NM Retail Box for $189.98 CDN

Regular price still shows on their site as $401.99

I can piece together a super fast PCI-e based system with 2gb of OCZ dual channel for $750 CDN.

I love price drops.

I think NCIX is one of the biggest dealers of AMD this side of the border... really they sell a remarkable amount of PC hardware!

Not to mention that NCIX does have a US online store as well.

So the AMD price drop is available South of the Border as well.

I've been so very tempted to buy the x2 3800+ and other parts to load my case up.

I really do not want to load another $1000 on to the credit card. But its been 5+ years since my last upgrade...

free shipping on most AMD cpu's with a price cut.
MIR's on RAM and PCI-e video card to help cut the costs...
