yup. Ritek D01 is crap media. search the forum if you want for more posts about it but you'll find they say the same thing.
use Verbatim DL media.

I purchased Memorex, not Ritek. Maybe Memorex uses Ritek and puts their name on it, but there was no way for me to know that.

Anyway, I don't think it's the media. These discs have always worked perfect for me, then I made some recent changes, and now I burned three coasters in a row.

The changes were new firmware, new version of Nero, and a new motherboard (which uses a different IDE controller).

Maybe the new firmware is detecting the disc incorrectly? Or, a glitch in Nero or IDE driver.

yeah, that's it. memorex doesn't actually manufacture the media. they buy it from various makers (Ritek is one) and put their name on it.

since you didn't post the complete log i can't tell which version of Nero, which firmware you're using.

Is this a new spindle of media? Memorex is notoriously inconsistent spindle to spindle. One might be ok, one might be all coasters.

Buy some Verbatim DVD+R DL (like a 3 pack or something) and see what happens.

That said, did you switch out all of that hardware without reinstalling Windows? Windows is notorious at not recovering well from changes at the scale you're talking (new mobo). You may need to reformat and reinstall to make sure everything is "clean" and nothing is left over from the old install.
